Klamath Falls Events 2026 NewsWatch 12 Sportsmen's & Outdoor Recreation Show Returns March 13 15

If you’re thinking about moving to Klamath Falls — or you already call this incredible place in Southern Oregon home — events like this are exactly why so many people love living here. The 3rd Annual NewsWatch 12 Sportsmen’s and Outdoor Recreation Show presented by Bi-Mart is coming to the Klamath County Fairgrounds and Event Center on March 13–15, 2026, and it’s shaping up to be the best one yet.

As a Realtor who helps families relocate to Klamath Falls every year, one of the first things I tell people is that the outdoor lifestyle here is genuinely unmatched. This show is a perfect snapshot of what makes the Klamath Basin special.

What Is the Klamath Falls Sportsmen’s Show?

The Sportsmen’s and Outdoor Recreation Show is an annual celebration of everything the Klamath Basin region has to offer — fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, kayaking, off-roading, photography, and so much more. It draws thousands of outdoor families, hunters, anglers, and industry professionals from across the Pacific Northwest each year, all under one roof right here in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Whether you’re a lifelong outdoor enthusiast or a newcomer still discovering what Klamath Falls has to offer, this is a can’t-miss weekend event.

2026 Highlights: What’s New at This Year’s Show

🦅 Wild Eagle Encounter — Presented by Klamath Falls Subaru

One of the most jaw-dropping new features this year is the live “Wild Eagle Encounter” brought to Klamath Falls by the famous Birdman of Las Vegas. Featuring two eagles, a hawk, a parrot, and a macaw, guests will witness a live demonstration of an eagle swooping down and snatching a fish from a pool of water with its talons. This is a truly unforgettable experience for kids and adults alike.

🦞 Nature’s Provisions + Win a Maine Lobster Hunt Trip

New in 2026, the “Nature’s Provisions” showcase — sponsored by Sherm’s Thunderbird Discount Market — highlights crafters of locally picked, processed, and packaged edibles from land and sea right here in the Pacific Northwest.

The anchor prize? A trip to Maine for the “Great Maine Lobster Hunt.” One lucky winner and their guest will fly from Portland, Oregon to Bangor, Maine for a 4-day coastal culinary experience in July 2026. The adventure includes a lobster trapping excursion with Captain Billy Bob Faulkingham aboard his lobster boat, a tour of the surrounding islands, a traditional Maine lobster feed, a visit to Acadia National Park and Cadillac Mountain, and a ferry trip to the famous seaside town of Bar Harbor. Sign up for free at the show — no purchase necessary.

🐻 Win a Maine Bear Hunt

The Oregon Hunters Association is also giving away a guided 4-day backcountry black bear hunt in Maine in September 2026 with Sunkhaze Outfitters. Lodging, meals, and round-trip airfare from Portland, Oregon are all included. Sign up for free at the Oregon Hunters Association booth.

📸 Capture the Wild Photography Contest — Now with Trail Cams!

The “Capture the Wild” photo contest, sponsored by Bi-Mart, is back and bigger than ever, with a brand-new trail cam category  added for 2026. If you’ve been capturing stunning wildlife images around the Klamath Basin, Upper Klamath Lake, or the Cascade foothills — this is your moment to shine. Entries compete for nearly $10,000 in cash and prizes and will be displayed throughout the show. Details at www.agentofthewild.com and www.exposureshows.com.

🦜 Parakeet Paradise Experience Returns

Back by popular demand, the “Parakeet Paradise Experience” returns for another year of up-close, hands-on fun.
